Hi there--I'm Kaitlyn, and I'm so glad you stopped by my blog! I'm really excited about sharing my stories with you. Each week, I'll post a blog about my life. Kind of like a diary, only no little key necessary to unlock it--besides, we all know those little keys have a tendency to get lost in the strangest places.

So, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I mean, I know most people love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, but I really do. Almost as much as I love Caleb Martin. But that's another story. And by that I mean he has no idea I exist.
My favorite tv show is Gilmore Girls...my older sister has all the dvd's, and I watch them all the time. I also like Pretty Little Liars and Lie to Me. Weird, I just realized those both have "lying" in the title. Sometimes I watch Dancing with the Stars. I have this secret dream to be a ballroom dancer. My favorite movie is definitely The Proposal.
As for music, I pretty much adore Taylor Swift, especially her new album. I wish my hair were more like hers. Mine's long and flat-looking.
Things I don't like: people who are mean to animals, snobs at school, broccoli sprouts, televised athletic events, and ugly shoes.

Hi, Kaitlyn! My name is Ashley. Well, maybe I should be a little more specific considering all of the other Ashleys in the world today (even your author's name is Ashley, sheesh!) You can call me Ashley #2 ;)
I'm going to go ahead and tell you a little bit about myself!
You know the love you have for chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream? Well, that's the same love that I have for macaroni and cheese. I know that seems like an outlandish comparison, but I've never really been one to like sweets. (I'm a little different than your average girl, I suppose...)
Moving right along! My favorite television channel is Animal Planet (when the show at least pertains to animals, anyway). You see, animals, next to children, are my biggest passion in life! Sometimes I wish I could be like Eliza Thornberry because she could talk to animals and that's just cool. (I even had braces! Maybe I'm closer than I think!) Like you, I dislike people who are mean to animals (that's why I stopped eating meat).
My favorite movies and musical artists are always changing. Right now, I'd have to say my favorite movie is The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but I also really enjoy Julie & Julia. Oh, and just about any children's movies, like Despicable Me or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. (Don't tell anyone, but I'm really nineteen going on five.) As for music, I enjoy more folksie artists, like Feist and Regina Spektor. Completely unrelated, but Hillsong United is pretty awesome too!
Well, that's me in a nutshell. I can be a little spastic, so, uh...bye! :)

I'm Brie, yes like the cheese. I really don't understand why everyone always asks me that when I say my name. It makes me feel like food, which I love maybe just a tad too much, food that is not people referring me to a food.
Anyways, about me.. I really have no idea what my favorite TV show is, I like way too many. I was really into Covert Affairs, Pretty Little Liars, and Rizzoli and Isles but the seasons all ended. Why do they always have to end? I love the Travel Channel, because even though I probably will never get to go to the places I can at least get an idea/feel for the world outside my small hometown, Sebastian. Granted, I have seen some of the US and the Bahamas, well I guess just a port in the Bahamas while I was on a cruise, but I'd love to travel the world one day.
um.. yeah, I should mention now I'm a little random..
Just like Ashley #2, I change my favorites all the time, except for my favorite food which is seafood or Italian. (I tried to become a full vegetarian but I just love chicken and fish too much *frowns* I'm sorry, I still love animals and cry when I see roadkill or animal abuse and I still feel awful for eating a helpless chicken and fish.)
My favorite color today will be pink just because of the new top I found that is the prettiest shade of pink.
My favorite movie today will be Eat Pray Love, but by tomorrow I'll love something a little more. As for children movies, Disney is my obsession.. but I love almost every child movie. What's not to love when you feel stress-free and young again?
My favorite music would have to Christmas music right now. I think my boyfriend, Curt, is definitely tired of hearing 20 different remakes of Baby, It's Cold Outside and Santa Baby, but hey! it's the season right? Anyways, I will always love country! (and Taylor Swift is one of my favorites)
I too love animals, but I also love God, children, and books. Oh, and of course photography, quilting (well, sewing in general) and blogging!
